Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Once completed, you will then be taken to the HSBC secure e-payments site which uses Security from Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode for internet transactions who will process your payment. After this you will be presented with a receipt page confirming your order and transaction for your records.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery Schedule

Subject to availability we aim to get all goods delivered to you witin 2 - 7 working days. Some items are made to order. The delivery time on these items will be confirmed on receipt of your order. Deliveries are made Monday - Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). All goods require a signature on delivery.

Delivery is free on orders over £250 goods value exclusive of VAT. Delivery charges for manufactured to order items will be advised on quotation.

For UK Mainland delivery, our charges are as follows:

Up to £9.99 = £3.00 (ex VAT)
Up to £49.99 = £5.50 (ex VAT)
Up to £99.99 = £8.00 (ex VAT)
Up to £149.99 = £11.00 (ex VAT)
Up to £249.99 = £14.00 (ex VAT)

For UK Islands and Northern Ireland delivery, our charges are as follows:

Up to £9.99 = £3.50 (ex VAT)
Up to £49.99 = £8.00 (ex VAT)
Up to £99.99 = £11.50 (ex VAT)
Up to £149.99 = £14.00 (ex VAT)
Up to £249.99 = £16.50 (ex VAT)

For Channel Isles, Isle of Man and other countries we will be pleased to quote you a price and availability.

Title and risk in the Goods shall pass to you upon delivery of the Goods.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security

Ross Architectural Manufacturers use HSBC secure e-payments which uses Security from Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode for internet transactions to process your payment. No credit card information is held by Ross Architectural Manufacturers.

Ross Architectural Manufacturers do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

You are advised to inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and you should notify us in writing either by email sales@ramdirect.biz or fax 01634 684831 if the goods are unsuitable, damaged, or do not comply with your order.

We want you to be happy with your purchase and if for any reason the Goods do not suit your needs, you can return them to us unused, in their original packaging and adequately insured during their return journey for a full refund (excluding calculated delivery charges, if any, calculated on the value of the item(s) being returned).

Where a claim of defect or damage is made, the Goods shall be returned by you to us in their original delivered packaging and should be adequately insured during their return journey. You will be entitled to a full refund (including calculated delivery charges, if any, calculated on the value of the item(s) being returned) plus the carriage costs incurred to return such, if the Goods are in fact proven to be defective or damaged.

All goods being returned must include a copy (or original) of the Ross Architectural Manufacturers issued delivery/invoice note included within the returned package in order for us to process this as quickly as possible.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you fail to notify or advise us within ten days from the date of the delivery/invoice note included, then you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods. Any requests for returns after this period has elapsed will be at the discretion of Ross Achiitectural Manufacturers and any subsequent refunds due in respect of an agreed return will be subject to a re-stocking/handling charge.
